TRAINING COURSES

As the governing body for Power Hockey in the UK, we strive to give our participants an equal playing field and making the sport consistent across the country. This means that we aim to have club representatives and match officials possess a deep understanding of the laws of the game. To aid those who want to be involved, we have a range of training courses that include referee training right down to opportunities for disabled people within power sports. See below for the training courses we offer:

Past Training Courses

Below is a list of all the training courses that GB Power Hockey Association has held in the past:

  • PowerSport Opportunities — funded by the European Social Fund.

  • A group of unemployed disabled adults across Merseyside completed a six-week training programme that enabled them to become aware of the opportunities available to them in both Power Hockey and Power Football. This programme consisted of both lectures and practical skills training in both sport with the group exploring a plethora of opportunities ranging from coaching to the manufacturing of PowerSport wheelchairs.
